Xero
Xero is a provider of cloud-based accounting software for accountants, bookkeepers, and small and medium-sized businesses. The company offers a range of accounting solutions for small businesses.
Dresser-Rand
Dresser-Rand designs, manufactures, and services turbines, compressors, and other rotating equipment used in the extraction and storage of petroleum and natural gas. (Acquired by Siemens).
Paratek Microwave
Paratek Microwave is a designer and manufacturer of radio-frequency front-end component solutions for mobile wireless applications. The company's products are used in impedance matching, broadband filtering and in radio antennas. (Acquired by Blackberry).
Carecubes
Carecubes designs and manufactures rapidly deployable negative-pressure patient isolation units for infection control, enabling care workers to safely enter patient areas and provide critical care.

Leadership
Ben Balbale
Managing Member
Ben Balbale is the Managing Member of Dockyard Capital, a firm he founded in 2018. Prior to founding Dockyard, Ben was a partner at Matrix Capital Management for over a decade, where he was a member of the firm's investment and management committee. Before joining Matrix, Ben spent six years as a software sales executive at Epiphany, ultimately serving as the AVP of Sales for the Eastern US. Ben began his career as an analyst at the MAC Group. He holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a BA from Harvard University.
